Yahoo Email adds support for "." in their email
I logged on to my Yahoo Mail today to find out that now we can have "." in a Yahoo email address. So now I can have an email address of AB.CD@yahoo.com (this is not my real address). That's good and the second good thing is that I can add an additional Yahoo email address to my existing profile. Below are the details:
Create an extra email address. Now you can have a second Yahoo! email address to use just like your first. And since we're now allowing the dot "." in email addresses, you can get more creative with your address. Go ahead, create one and use it to send email, sign in, whatever. It's yours. You can also use one of your existing profiles for an extra address. However, you can only have one extra address. With this I can either login as my primary email address using my password or I can login using my secondary email address using the same password as my primary email. OK, this is somewhat cool but not a big deal. But this addition is welcome. I think email users are way faster, they did not add this functionality to my email address last night when I checked it out. This morning when I logged in, I got this option and the email address I wanted with my first.last name was already taken! UPDATE: Rush guys before the personalised email address with an "." in it is taken by somebody else. Go to http://edit.yahoo.com/config/list_alias?.src=ym&.intl=us page and get it now.
