To Feed Butler- Another Digg like site

OK, I visited Feed Butler today, it's in Beta now. From the outer surface and based on my preliminary feelings, looks like it is kinda Digg like site. But is Digg so famous that the whole world browsing the Internet knows about it and the whole concept behind it. Obviously not! So here are some comments to the site owner of Feed Butler and I can see that some of this will be relevant to some similar sites as well.

Note to the developer of Feed Butler:- Please take this as positively as you can and good luck with your site. 1. I know that the site is still in Beta, but let your users know how this site is going to make difference. If needed deploy this features in advance before you deploy the beta out to public. As an user I should know why I should really spend my time on your site. Read some of the points on Rajesh Shetty's Blog and this post in special http://blog.lifebeyondcode.com/blog/_archives/2005/9/6/1204001.html. 2. Create a demo just to show how you want your users to use this site. At the moment there is nothing on the Feed Butler site that explains what the site is all about. A Demo will at least give users what it is all about once they reach the site from some where. 3. Please, Please let your users know who is behind this project. Having a blog without a face does not really help! 4. Again, as pointed in point no. 2, explain your users in plain English as to how the whole process/site works. I have difficulty understanding how the news items get picked? 5. Get your users excited about your service. Look at your site, from what angle does it really tempt me to sign up or even use it? 6. Give 5 good reasons to your users as to why they should really use this site compared to one of the site which already offers this service VIA:- Steve Rubel's Blog
